Our Business

Solid -N- Counters, Inc. was started in 1999 by Robert Pugliesi and Paul Desmarais with the goal of providing an exceptional countertop purchasing experience through all stages of the customer's contact with us. To avoid the myriad of difficulties that traditionally weighed down typical countertop companies the decision to "keep it simple" was of utmost importance.

Veterans of working in a very large corporation we knew that layers of upper management did not make a successful company. We chose instead to personally work at every level of the business for the first 3 years of its existence allowing us to create the kind of solid relationships with our showroom dealers and customers that would earn their loyalty in the face of big competition. These local showrooms were critical in creating the foundation for our company.

In 2002 we took on our first employee and have grown steadily every year, expanding into the Engineered Stone market from our roots in Solid Surface. While only a 7 person company, Solid -N- Counters provides a quality of customer service that is exceptional within the industry.

 This level of service is the end result of an extremely dedicated and professional group of individuals that comprise our fabrication and installation teams. We consistently receive calls and letters with stories of positive customer service experiences. They are the best in the business.
